I can see you posted two weeks ago, so it might be too late but I would also add a crankshaft seal, a balance shaft seal and may be an oil pump gasket.
Sam
When was the last time you changed your ATF?
Good luck,
Sam
Yeah I think I found the problem. The pump is bad, fluid is bubbling and I got under the car and saw some signs of leaking
Is your leak coming from the pump or is it coming from the hoses?
The pump still might be good.
Good luck,
SamOn my 1999 4 cylinder Accord I had oil pump seal leaking. I believe your 93 is similar.
Good luck,
SamI want to close this thread.
As you may remember the Honda seal I got from Amazon leaked. I went to dealer and bought another one. The same part number but paid two times more.
Believe it or not it also leaked.I got desperate and applied a “Non hardening RTV” around the mating surfaces.
IT IS NOT LEAKING!!!
In other words I should have started with this and not waste my money on new gaskets that leak.
Sam
Thanks!
Ordering from roach auto is out of option. They burned me three times and I had to pay for return shipment.
And even if I decided to buy from them, the part most likely would be the same crap that I bought on Amazon.
I can find a lot of “genuine” parts online but who can tell me how genuine they are.
I am off on Friday and I plan to visit our local dealer. I hope they have the part in stock.
I appreciate everybody who replied.
Regards,
SamThanks for reply CordiaMad.
The old and new gaskets look the same. I do not think that picture will show any differences in them.
Is there a chance that a new gasket will hold?
Will an anaerobic RTV hold or should I simply try to buy a new gasket?
Thank you very much,
SamAnybody?
Here is the picture:
Attachments:I am sorry I did not read your entire post.
I did not make any pictures when it was still wet. By now I believe it all got dried out. If it is possible to see something I will post a picture.
Thanks again,
SamThank you Eric. I’ll be waiting for it to break before spending more money.
Wow! What a trick!
I will definitely try it.
The only problem of mine is “dull red”. I am colorblind. I know, my wife will not be happy with me but she will have to help with this…
Thank you roywrench22!
I will report back with the results when it is done.

Well, the trick did not work!At least for me. That could be my eyes that could not correctly see “dull red”, but the pump leaked even after I heated up the copper and after it cooled, coated the gasket with Permatex “Copper Spray”.
After that I cut out a gasket out of Synthetic Rubber Gasket Material and coated it with Permatex “Copper Spray”
It still holds after few trips of about 150 miles total.
