Possibly you live at a higher altitude where your octane should be reduced to prevent vapor.

The reason is because Uncle Sam is pressuring the automobile manufacturers to produce better fuel efficiency. Just ask Volkswagon. You used to have to use a donut spare, and now your lucky to even get one.

I am not an expert on this,,just started tech school. But I beleive there is a diode in the circuit that could fail pushing up to 400 volts, If all the relays and and the High and Low pressure switches are good. I think I would look for that diode.

Nice Lift Eric….I am just starting out and am a little nervous about being under one. I have not had the opportunity yet of using the one at school. Your video was a lot of help.Who cares why you didn’t have a lift before ? .ROCK ON!

I would keep it.If you are used to having a truck around and you go to a car you will surely miss it.Besides, it will give you something to wrench on! Keep it as a project, if nothing else.

Thanks for the help here, I’m getting ready to spend a lot of time and $ on a career, and you have helped point me in the right direction. I enjoy it all but sometimes IT is what IT is.

Its also really a pain cleaning melted sneakers off of those chrome pipes. Ever since I had a wasp fly in to my full-face helmet at Freeway speeds I’ve preferred an open face , plus I’m a little claustrophobic.
