If my Trucks not sitting in the driveway, I have an anxiety attack. And those knew Teslas that you can start with a Smart Phone, well, I’m really bad at remembering passwords anyway.
When you replaced the master cylinder did you adjust the pushrod so it is not blocking the vent port.? When it does this again crack open the bleeder, if fluid spurts out under pressure it may be blocked. You may need to adjust the pushrod length. When the fluid heats up it expands and needs somewhere to go. if the vent is blocked it can not return back into the reservoir.
Have you checked the motor mounts real good?
As far as the impala this is normal for computer controlled starting. The ignition switch signals the PCM and it starts the engine.
When you refill, if the purge valve sticks open, the fumes go to the intake manifold causing it hard to start.
225/70/14=26.3 height
195/75/14=25.5 height
195/70/14=24.7 height
Maybe you meant the195/75 its within 1/2 inch which would be the norm. 🙂Since cold temperatures reduces vaporization , especially In summer blended fuels, and in premium grades. You may want to try a different fuel for cold weather.
After 15 minutes grab the upper radiator hose. If you have to let it go because its too hot, its OK. If its not pressurized, check for leaks and replace the radiator cap.If its not hot replace the thermostat.
To check for leaks just turn the car off, wait a minute and you should have a couple brake assists left. Hissing is considered normal and varies. Its just air entering the rear chamber. 🙂
A faulty booster is never the cause of a soft brake pedal. Make sure the rear shoes are adjusted out enough where you can only spin the wheel once. The parking brake should have no more than 10 clicks.
Always go by the manual, but just remember these are the recommended MAXIMUM intervals, and do not include special operating conditions. Short trips ,freezing temps, dusty areas etc, which can change the intervals drastically. I change mine a lot more often.I like my engine cleeeen. :woohoo:
I like to crack the bleeders before I take the caliper off. There shouldn’t be any fluid pressure until the pedal is depressed. If there is it could be a hydraulic issue .Remember just because you can push a piston back in manually does not mean the O-rings can pull them back in. that’s there job and they could be defective. Erics videos are great in covering all this. 🙂
Whats the temp at the upper radiator hose , most cars are between 190 and 220.
November 22, 2015 at 7:50 pm in reply to: A Brief History of the T5 Transmission with Paul C #845169Nice video. It must be a good transmission since it was in the Camaros and the Mustangs, and even the 280z. It was even in the AMCs.Good choice !!
