Ya…a pilot bushing…is it still in good condition?
The picture with the clutch disc sitting on the pressure plate…is that how you had it installed on the engine? If so, the clutch disc was installed backwards…the springs are supposed to face away from the engine, not towards.

If you dont have access to a smoke machine then start by following all evap hoses and see if you find the leak.
