Bank 1 cat is usually the one at the front of the motor on transverse engines. I would test the 02 sensor downstream of that cat before you have a new cat put on first.

Yes, it is possible. Put die in the leak and use a UV light to trace it.

Sounds electrical to me, and i dont think a cavalier has a computer reset for the windows.
I was told that by my 10th grade math instructor years ago.
