      Thanks for the info, but that was the closest thing I could find on the net. I read it was supposed to address the p0751 error, but I didn’t want to drop the pan and TCM to change the valve by itself with out the solenoid. Didn’t want to do all the work and still ended back up where I started. Well, I have a 50/50 chance it might work,,,,,lol….thanks again for the response.

        just adding: miles on the CTS is about 140,000 and fluids are at proper levels

          I had a 2005 Cadillac SRX AWD over 200,000 miles and still own it, do that to me. Key in no crank. Just dead. It wouldn’t even release my key. Had power so that was good. Popped the fuse box and took 12/14 gauge wire connected it to purple start wire in fuse box and a bolt that was grounded. Had someone crank and started. Turned out some bad ground on fuse box.
