Well, it would seem I barfed the valves. Did the timing kit rotated the engine by hand. All seemed very promising until I fired it up. Chug chug tick chug tick tick… bummer :sick:
Guess it’s a new head or a new car at this point.
At least I’ve got my gas guzzling 95 cougar (v8) to get me to work.

No, I was going with the ETCG approach and didn’t really want to tear down to check…
it is an interference engine
i’m just trying to avoid causing any (or any further) damage.
