Agreed with the above. If pulling all fuses leads to no change, it’s something inline that’s always live. Starter or alternator
my 1998 honda accord lx sedan v6 automatic overheats while sitting in traffic. When i put it in ‘NEUTRAL’ and press the gas pedal the temperature gauge goes back to normal operating temperature. When this happens the reservoir is fulled with coolant and radiator is empty, and my fans works fine. Water pump and radiator was replaced about 3 months ago. Advise anyone please!!!
. Replace the rad cap and fill the rad. Your rad should always be full. The overflow will with receive or give antifreeze depending on expansion and retraction
Try rotating the tires see if anything changes
Lol
The sides of the pads where they contact the caliper gets anti-sieze
Are the controls inside the vehicle working?
Yes. If each coil pack has 2 plug wires just plug in 2 spark plugs and touch the threads to ground as you crank the engine. I believe it’s called a loss spark system or something like that where 2 plugs fire at the same time. Unplug 12 electrical from the other coil packs your not testing
Any chance cylinders may have been filled with fluid causing a hydrolock? Remove the plugs and try turning it over
Warrantee work
Have you done anything with the crank sensor? That’s part of what tells the coil to fire
Check to be sure the engine grounds are solid. Then work your way back. If it’s not getting to the ecm. Split the circuit in half. Which means to test it half way down. Then go from there
Remove the valve and clean it and the ports out with throttle body cleaner
Don’t beat yourself up Eric. In Canada it is referred to as a backing plate. We probly all know what your referring to anyway. And we all make mistakes, human after all.
It sounds like it’s cranking since he mentioned no spark. Try hooking a scanner up thats capable of live data. See if it responds that way. Will tell you if the ecm is powered and somewhat functional
Check to be sure all plugs are where they should be. Also make sure any grounds removed are all reconnected. You won’t get any codes since your battery was disconnected. Recheck all your work and we will go from there
