It appears it has already been butchered with bondo, quick fix, sand it, get rid of the rust. Slap some fibreglass cloth over the hole. Fill, sand level, and paint. The real way is weld in a new rocker panel.
This should be moved to the body forum
OK I misspoke about temperature and brightness but I did say that you should check with your local laws to see if it would be legal to install such a kit on your vehicle. I also showed how you could easily switch back to your stock set up. I really liked this video because it was outside of my normal ‘repair’ video and I really like the result I got. It’s turning out to be one of my most disliked videos however, even more than the Synthetic vs Regular Oil video. I guess this is what is meant by ‘you can’t win them all’.
I do appreciate everyones insight, thanks for your input.
Eric, even though im new to the forums, ive watched most of your video’s. I agree with most of your views, you and I think alike. I have yet to watch a boring video. Stay dirty, stay safe.

After washing your vehicle, and hell has frozen over. Silicon spray on all the door weather stripping, and your sure to get back in, in the morning. Dont forget lock deicer. Dont do either of these if you need an excuse for not going to work.

September 20, 2013 at 7:44 pm in reply to: 2005 Chevy Optra Standard Transmission Engine Swap #545460Sounds like damage done to wiring while pulling, or replacing engine. Check all wiring in the engine compartment for damage. Pull the interior light fuse and see if the dash still acts up. Its a start

An engine under load changes the resonanse/frequency of the exhaust. A fart can is a good example. My truck ran quiet as can be, even revving it in park. Goto drive it and you heard ticking. Eventually, ticking got louder and louder and is no longer a tick.

Doesnt sound tranny related, i agree with the others, check the axels. You may have a stiff cv joint pushing and pulling on a wheel.
