I put all new brakes on about 5k ago. It’s a 2000 Yukon XL with 175k miles, and rear disc brakes. Lately the brakes have been squishy. I bled the brakes, but nothing happened. Watched the etcg video on ,aster cylinder. Flushed the whole system. Nope. Nothing has changed. Not sure I really have a leak as the reservoir is not going down.
Thoughts?
Can you elaborate “squishy”. Also, when you bled the brakes you mentioned nothing happened. Can you clarify “nothing”.
The brake pedL feels like there is air in the lines. It goes all the way to the floor. However I have bled the lines completely, this no air. After I replaced the master cylinder, I bled another pint through. No air at all. If you go and pump the brakes, they are rock hard. When you start the car, pedal goes to the floor. You do t need a scan tool for these brakes.
Sorry, forgot to mention replaced all brake lines.
We are on vacation in the middle of no where. Antifreeze is leaking heavily. I have nothing with me. Gonna be forced to take it to a local. Like National Lampoons Vacation. “ok fellas, how much? How much ya got?”
Guess it was just a coincidence on this one. This truck has never left us stranded. It was built on WED.:-)

Hi,
Never thought of that….but this is a Yukon/Suburban and I wish it was diesel. Can you do that on this combination?
Guess not, just watched the video 😛
Maybe I should put the diesel in so I can stop, lol. I luv Diesel.
