^agreed about running the regular oil, and who knows maybe it was fluke(sounds weird but bare with me)
I had changed the oil on my subaru and about a week later the dipstick was bone dry, I topped of the oil and it didn’t lose a drop for the next 3 months till I changed it again. Just check the oil as like once a week and add as needed. I would still do the tests that way you can get a better idea of what is going on.^agreed about running the regular oil, and who knows maybe it was fluke(sounds weird but bare with me)

1. Let car die
2. When you pick up your wife admit it was your fault some how (be creative)
3. Tell everybody else that it was your ill lit wifes fault

Are you sure there is no leak. I had a leak on my subaru where it would leak on to the exhaust so it would burn up and leave very little on the ground.

Thanks so much, now I have somewhere to start. Ill post my findings when I get a chance to do this.

sorry, wasnt thinking about the engine info. Its the 2.0l DOHC Beta 2 engine with MFI fuel injection. It does not have any sort of variable valve timing in case you need to know. I don’t know what else you need to know but i can try and get whatever other info you need and yes I have a dvom.
