sorry for the very late response. The light started working again not long after I posted this. I’m not sure what happened but it hasn’t failed since!
Just doing a little more research…never knew Purolator makes filters for synthetic oil. Think that may be the move for me. Now for oil: thinking either Castrol Edge w/ Syntec or Titanium. I’ve used GTX and High Mileage in previous cars. Dad’s always used Castrol in his trucks and the family cars we’ve had. Never had any engine issues I know of. Thoughts?

I’ve used Puralator PureOne filters on my old 96′ Accord. They seemed alright. I want whatever filter will keep the oil the cleanest. Opinions on K&N products?
