Unless you’re buying this from rotunda do not buy one. I have seen too many people get ripped off. Same thing when gm’s mdi was the new thing.

They do it because 1. They don’t care about what the customer has to pay to have a reliable vehicle. The reason Ford is the best selluing truck is because they are pieces of crap. You can’t sell a lot of vehicles if they run for a long time. 2. Everything is rushed, they worry about making things impossible to get to or impossible for non-dealer techs to work on.

Not a mazda guy but don’t rule out exhaust leaks. Probably way off but have scene those kick people in the butte thinking it was internal engine noise.

There really isn’t a spec on compressors. Intact mist if the specifications I see are whole system not by component. You need to space oil where it wants it. Honestly 8 oz seems a bit much but I am probably wrong. As soon as you start charging it and/or running the system the oil will disperse.

If you do t have the skill set to drill and extract or helicoil fasteners I would stop now and call a local mechanic.

You need to replace vent solenoid and evaporate canister for slow fueling. That engine is unlined so you only have one bank. I am fairly sure the purge valve is on the intake. It could be sticking however in my tine at gnome I did quite a few intake gaskets on those for lean conditions.

I would add oil to the parts as specified by the manual. Since you’re flushing the parts. If it were me I would dump the compressor measure it and make sure its around 1 ozone and dump it back in. You may have to turn the pulley to get it all out and in

What are your fuel trims? Does it have a exhaust restriction past the converters? It could be running rich or have timing issues. I would make sure first since it missing that you have pulse at coils and injectors. You’re either getting too much fuel into the converter or the exhaust isn’t breathing.
