Would def start by putting a wrench on the negatve cable and making sure it’s clean. If you have it tighht enough you can’t move the terminal around, but the cablee moves a lot follow it’s path and see if it’s got a loose engine ground.

Youre most likely getting somewhere then. I haven’t came across any that retain the codes w/ battery replacement unless you use a memory saver.

Well, I see this a lot at my dealer…Our ticket writing system automatically brings up the miles the car had last time it was in for service, sometimes they may just keep typing and not correct it, or move a number and make it 91,245 instread of 95,124 so on etc..

Can you get just the bulb?? Or is it a whole ballast assembly? I’m not real familiar with thst system, but alldata doesn’t say it’s instruction are for halogen or xenon. Basically looks like you can do it through fender. Can post you some pictures if interested.

                            edit:

I would assume you’ll have to undo the bumper cover enough to squeak the light out or at least at an angle to get to the fasteners holding it into place. Sadlt, most cars are going that route.

Not a problem. That’s what we’re here for. I’m sure you know but a scan tool in the hands of autozone is a dangerous thing.
