      Just got a power probe ect2000 circuit tester just the job for finding them broken wires and short to grounds and a set of mac tools swivel half inch sockets now I like snap on gear but I saw them on the van on offer and the price did the rest I was looking for a new snap on tool box as mine was made way back when god was a lad but ho god best go pawn my soul lol

          just got a silca sbb key programmer v33 it looks like a good bit of gear but not had a chance to have a go with it yet so will let you all know

              hi I have had the power probe 3 and now have the hook both are good bits of gear and are for the diy user just about the same apart from the power supply mode as the hook can supply up to 100amps inrush for testing motors and the like and the 3 can only supply 60 and the hook has the new smart tip that can automatically switch between test types they are good but a good but are no replacement for a good multi meter like a fluke 170 or the like

                  I use a snap on ethos running 12.2 software its a good bit of kit a bit on the expensive side of life
                  for diy use but you can find good used ones on ebay just make Shure you get the most up to date software as of right now it is 13 and all the personality keys also for all of us hear in the uk its a good idea to get the euro update

                      got a new power probe hook to go with the power probe 3 i have it works well as it can load a part with up to 100amps in rush and 25 amps constant current for all the big current bits if you just get one power probe get the hook its worth the cash and its made well i got mine from mac tools on a deal it will save you time and cash in the long run.

                                  The snap on van has been and left me a nice new power probe 3 nice now lets have some fun
