I think I may have found my problem..I was checking fuses today and saw that fuse #31 was blown under the dash. On the manual it says “starter signal” could it be that?

I checked the fan as well and that’s good. The problem I found was that the wires from the connector aren’t getting any signal. And what could that black thing be? I saw that the wire was messed up and thought it could probably be that..

Here goes some more pictures..From the inside of the Distributor. And I forgot to say that the motor isn’t the stock B16A it’s a JDM B16A from Japan. Would the same parts that go on the US Version still fit the Japan Version of the B16A?
Yeah, I’m guessing it’s the wires that are bad..And yes, The battery is good I have changed it out and still nothing.
There goes some pictures..Thats how the wires look inside as well.
Those wires connect to the ignition coil and the igniter.
About 3 weeks ago I did clean the engine with degreaser. Once I was done everything seemed to be fine. And yes, im guessing I did run the battery down 🙁 .And nope, no arching or anything on the cables. I checked my distributor today..took it apart and saw that some cables were missing there plastic protector. All I saw was the bare wire. Could it be that? Would I have to buy a whole new distributor? Or just change out the cables?
I have checked for a spark and nothing. I have changed the Ignition coil and the igniter and still nothing so im guessing its the wires since there all bare wire.
I bought a tester that looks like a spark plug..And the spark plug wires are new. The wires that are bare are the wires that go the igniter and ignition coil. And yes, the wires were damaged.
