Alright so one of my buds checked out my honda and said that yes the belt skipped. He said he just hopes nothing else is wrong inside since the car was heating up when it ran. But it only heated up twice when I was driving it. Hopefully nothing else goes wrong.
That’s the #1 prob. That the car won’t start so I can check the timing.
And I doubt it’s my muffler..It’s all just straight pipe.
Quoted From Beefy:
Yep. First, make sure you can get the timing marks to line up. If you have slack on one side, a tensioner could’ve let go, so you need to make sure that you can get all the marks to line up. Those looked like factory cam gears in yer vid, but I want to be sure. They aren’t the adjustable ones are they?
Where are the marks at? Would I need to remove the water pump and belt out of the way? Yes, they are the factory cam gears. And iam not sure..all I saw on the cam gears is that they just have an arrow that says up.

Heres a video of the car..You can hear a loud “pop” coming from the exhaust when I turn it on. I have no idea what’s wrong with it. Just installed new dizzy and still does not want to turn on. HELP!
And I noticed theres a humming noise coming from the air intake..I have no idea what that is about.
I have not tried it because I have no idea how to do it. Is there a video somewhere that will at least show me how to do it? But from the looks of it the belt on one side is pretty loose. Im guessing it skipped some teeth.
Alright so today I put in a new distributor and it still does not turn on. It’s giving off spark but once I crank it for a while the muffler starts to pop. There’s fuel, spark, and air. So it should turn on right? I noticed that one side of my timing belt was loose and the other side was pretty tight. Could it possibly be that? I have no idea wha’s wrong with it. Like I said I crank it and after about 5 sec of cranking these weird pops come out of the muffler like it’s trying to start.
I checked the fuel pressure today and nothing came out through the hose that goes to the fuel rail. So I thought it could probably be the main relay.

tQuoted From hbvx:
^I had a repeat fuse pop on my first car, Stratus 2.4L 1999, and it was the starter but eventually the crank position sensor’s WIRING got damage from a broken harness which then allowed the wires leading to the sensor from the ECU to get burned, causing a no-start but cranking was just fine.
So it cranked but didn’t start up?
I was checking the manual today and saw that the fuse was a 10 amp fuse that was on #31. On the manual it says a 7.5 fuse should go there. Should I throw in 7.5 amp as it says on the manual or a new 10 amp? The motor isn’t the stock B16A that it had it’s a JDM B16A.
And would I be better off getting a used OEM Distributor or a New non OEM Distributor? http://www.ebay.com/itm/CIVIC-INTEGRA-DEL-SOL-NEW-IGNITION-DISTRIBUTOR-1-6L-1-8L-DOHC-VTEC-/290657336603?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&vxp=mtr&hash=item43ac86fd1b
