fixed the oil issue it apparently was bad gasket seals and a tube was full of sludge. I am now wondering if I should get a fuel enzyme cleaner for the van because the gas mialage is now off and the responsive ness in the throttle is getting slower even after I fixed everything else. it idles fine except on hills it idles around 700rpm.

repaired the rusty rims and fixed radio issue by rewiring radio but now the main issue is almost every time I shift into drive from reverse the van surges in rpm even when fully stopped or it totally shuts off and then doesn’t crank (due to engine and oil light on). I don’t have codes yet but lately the oil light has been coming on every 3 weeks for idk what reason. van has no crank unless you take the key out for 30 seconds. idk what the problem is here but my dad is now considering this is a major problem at 156,800 miles and we just put new trans fluid in. it may be spark plugs but I doubt it they need to be changed they were last changed at 80k.

let me know of any ideas

sienna now at 151k the trans is now only slipping in reverse after i put new fluid in it. another problem i might have is due to the electrical in the rear because now the radio is on demo mode( new radio original broke a year ago). i think the reverse gear may be slipping due to electric issue but tommorow im going to my uncles shop to figure that out, i also was wondering if there is anyway i could change the radio’s problem without having to dissasemble the dashboard? everything else works fine but the last issue is i need new steel rims there rusting bad!

Running corolla with 5w 40 and managed to catch a 1998 Saab ng 900 but only because I got a longer gear ratio and some new internal items. I have also got a new job at my uncles brothers shop who is an automotive nut!

Sienna now lags and feels sluggish in reverse and when going down hill it feels like its not even running it gets 26 mpg but its best only at 45+ mph maybe I have a vsc issue cause the other day the car had that light blink 2 times and the fuel pump went out so I need to replace it at 150,200
