those compressors are one of the easiest ones to remove. It drops right out the bottom. I would reccomend having someone recover the system professionally and check for debris is the lines, this will tell you if your compressor failed internally or if the clutch burned up. In my experience at the dealership, 99% of the time the compressor has failed internally.

Start with the basics. Your alternator may not be charging correctly and causing the engine to die. Are your battery cables clean and tight?

        Is your coolant level full?

Next what I would do is wait until the brakes are cool to the touch, remove the right front wheel and make sure the brake line isnt pinched or twisted. If all looks ok then remove the caliper from the bracket, crack the bleeder and try to compress the piston. If it doesnt compress then the caliper needs to be replaced. If all looks ok there then make sure the slide pins arent seized. If all of that looks ok then I would return it to where you had the work done so they can double check their work.

Well maybe ask your manager to pay you hourly plus flat rate if you flag more hours than your there until your more comfortable with your situation.

It doesnt make any logical sense to throw you to the wolves and expect you to survive once your done with school

Which wheel seems to be the hottest after driving? If its only one you most likely have a failing brake caliper or slide pins. I believe eric has a video of this on an acura 3.5 rl you should check out.

As far as the overheating condition goes, hows it now? Do your cooling fans come on? Hows the coolant level in the reservoir tank?

I had the same experience as diofan. Try to buddy up with the a good flat rate guy to help him and learn.

I pulled the valve cover and rechecked the cam timing, its spot on.

The ecu got wet from a water leak so he swapped it out with an ebay special, still no start and now shows a code for the barometric sensor. Not sure if the ecu is garbage or not.

Next step will be pulling a fuel sample to see if its contaminated
