As eric said check for voltage to the motor when in the high setting. Sometimes for the “HIGH” setting there is a separate relay since the motor will be getting full battery power instead of sharing voltage with the resistor. If you do have power to the motor, with the connector still connected then check for voltage on the ground side of the terminal, this would indicate an open farther down the line. Keep us posted

You need to pinpoint where this noise is coming from. I would suggest to use a stethescope first. Move it around until you find the area where the noise is loudest.
If you think its coming from something being driven by one or “the” accesory drive belt then try removing them one at a time (if there is more than one)too see if it changes the noise or makes it go away. Since you say the P/S pump reservoir was empty then that may be a good place to start looking. Good luck!

Im glad to hear your car is fixed. The sensor logic code may have been set because a non honda scanner tried to clear the abs code. When the factory scanner clears the code it then performs a “neutral position” memorization and if that isnt done then it will set that code.
Keep us posted if any issues come back
Oh and I feel your pain on those sensors, they get stuck all the time and are a real bitch sometimes.

Yeah so with your gun set at 16 BTDC and the SCS line jumped the white dot should line up perfectly with the pointer on the timing cover.
Do your spark plugs look black? Are they the correct ones? (heat range)

Fromt what your describing it sounds like your cam timing is correct.
Correct me if im wrong but I think the white mark should line up with your timing light set at the correct setting with the SCS connector jumped. When going to your emmision test station do you have to wait a long time to get tested? If so your cat may be cooling down and not working as efficently. Do you get any black smoke out the exhaust? How many miles on this beast? Aftermarket or OEM distributor?

A big pet peeve or mine is other techs leaving crap in my stall when im gone. Im on a rotating schedule with one 5 day vacation a month (badass, i know) I just so happen to be one one now and when I go back tomorrow I plan on having to clean my stall up.
On my last bit of vacation someone managed to splash floor cleaner up onto my box and left permenant stains on the surface on my box. That really pissed me off

I have a nice snap on cordless drop light sitting under the hood of an Acura TL that I was doing a power steering hose recall on. Thats probably my most expensive loss to this date. I promptly went back to a corded droplight on a reel.

I either barter (details, dent removal, etc) or take cash. I usually just do the work and we square up later. I havent been stiffed yet but its just a matter of time I guess
