thats a good bit of movement. l would just go for the mounts. can’t hurt, the rubber deteriorates in time, plus looks like you live in a rusty area also. my opinion.
if anything i would go with sea foam. IF you can, recommend using a rig where it get sucked in thru the system rather than just dumping in the gas tank… chrisfix did a video where it got sucked in with a lawn mower and it was easy to SEE the result (smoking). Rig as in getting a foot or so rubber hose and a funnel to insert the fluid, or perhaps, look of a sucking hopper ..not this entire thing just the main piece for holding the fluid until it gets sucked in.
chrisfix video
good luck
could also go with tool sets from local auto parts store. especially if its closer to you rather than sears, or home depot. but, before you buy always make sure they are lifetime warranty. you WILL break a tool at some point, it would just be nice to swap locally. l have sears about 20 minutes away, lowes also, about 45 for harbor freight, home depot. thats why l say part store
Hi Eric! I have a 2011 ford ranger, when I rolls down the windows (power) they like skip or hop all the way down. When they go up, their smooth. Both sides. Tried silicone paste on the top part hoping it would go down, but it didn’t. Asked a friend he said maybe squirt some windex down he said may have dirt or crap in the track. Haven’t tried that yet, wanted to see what you think.
Hi Eric. Just a random. When you went to school did you go specififly for Asian vehicles or just general how cars work etc? Then chose Asian after you got out ?
Did some more asking about it, remember I don’t have immediate access to the blazer. They took it to a mechanic and he disabled the 4wd, and as far as I know it’s no longer making the noise. I’ll update this forum when I know more info. This could be helpful to other folks who may have the same issue.
