I’ve done that. It searches the titles only. I don’t want to only search the titles. I would like to see/read each thread where my search term appears in at least one post. I do not want every post to show up in the search results, just the thread. That doesn’t seem to be possible at this time.

I’d like to have the search results presented as threads, not as every post that used (or copied) the search term. I’ll usually read the whole thread anyway.
Is there an option to just show threads that contain the search term?

          A little resolution here.
The noise key on and key off was the antenna extending motor! Antenna doesn’t move, but motor runs and from the driver seat the antenna on the right rear fender is in line with the fuel pump noise. It wasn’t until a helper turned the key with me sleuthing that it was clear. Fuel pump running fine. Pumped half a gallon out though my fuel pressure gauge bleed-off and volume of flow was great.

Removed plenum and measured the resistance of the fuel injectors. Supposed to be greater than 12 ohms. One fuel injector was 4 ohms, one was 6 ohms and the rest were between 12-13. The two low ohms ones were both on the front bank of the V6. I replaced all six injectors and car runs great.

Thanks for this info. Will do. If I can’t reuse the gasket under the shift solenoids, can I use RTV?

The trans was low on fluid and one quart brought it back up to full. I doubt that one quart down was the reason for the no reverse situation.

Fixing it forward is great! Real life fixes and prioritizing what gets done and what repairs get left for the future.

Yes, maybe solenoid, but when I supply battery voltage to the solenoid wire by jumping from the starter terminal, solenoid works. Seems to imply that full battery voltage is not being provided from the ignition switch. I don’t know.

I should add this. Battery is 12.6v. New battery cables, both + and ground. This is an intermittent problem. It started just fine this morning, but not yesterday morning. When it does crank, it cranks at a normal speed. Next test will be to measure the voltage at the solenoid when the key is turned.

I was telling the screen: “Spin a nut down past that broken off cotter pin and grab the nut in the vise!”

Nice video, I hadn’t seen where the fluid seal is with respect to the inner tie rod. I mean, all I’ve seen (too often) is fluid coming out of the boot. Maybe the pipe wrench touched the sealing surface one time, hmm?

I agree that gearwrench type ratcheting wrenches are useful, but that a person can paint oneself into a corner with the the flip-over-to-reverse ones. But, anymore, I only buy the flex head kind that hinges. When the fastener is in a tight enough position where I want a ratcheting wrench, I’ve learned that I usually need a flex head ratcheting wrench.

open bleed screw by the water pump. It’ll let the air out.

My 1992 lumina was losing coolant in that long pipe/hose contraption that goes around half the engine compartment to get to the heater inlet/outlet. That had rusted through down by the wheel well, where salt gets thrown on it. It was difficult to find, because it would seep out as I was driving and not leak much when the system was not pressurized. Also if yours has that heater inlet around the thermostat, that failed for me also, but leaked a little for a long time until the junk metal finally failed completely. I’d say pressurize the cooling system and look for visible leaks first. ‘Course you did say that you can lose the whole overflow tank in 40 miles…
