      Yes, i would start with the plug wires and plugs and move on to vacuum leaks from there. If those are not the problem, …hmmmm.. depending on if your auto has 2 cats or one, if it has 2, One on each side of the engine, i would most deff check the one on the side thats mis firing.

              have you cleaned your MAF? also, 02 sensors are in play, unless you are WOT. then the ecu or PCM ignores them in most rides. “maybe all not sure” your CATS could be clogged or damaged from the misfire as well. be the only 3 things i know of “besides timing” that would cause you to hesitate at lower RPM but not higher and also possible pinging under load.
