Ok guys I unhooked the battery and cleared the P0420 code and I ran it some and it has not showed up again,so that leads me to think that it was just an old code left in the computer. But now heres what I got,I ran up the Rpm’s to heat up everything,I got to 2000/2500 Rpm’s and let it come back down and then it shut off on me,We checked the fireing at the plug wire and wasnt able to see spark, and checked at the coil, and saw spark. So we changed the rotor button and put the cap back on,and it still did the same thing. But my dad was standing in front of the car and when I reved the Rpm’s and he relized that it was flooding,I got it un flooded and I cant get it to shut off! Does anybody know what might be going on? Cause this is just confusing the crap out of me?

Thanks College Man, I have watched all of these and I know Its going to be one of these things thats wrong with it,I have yet to narrow it down to which one that it is. Like I had said in my first post, I changed the distributor cap, and thought I had the problem fixed. But once again it messed up! I have noticed that it only breaks down on me on really hot days, and it takes anywhere from five minutes to a couple days before I can get it to crank again! That leads me to believe that it might be the coil or the main relay. It just threw me off when I hooked it up yesterday and got the P0420 code.
