well right now the belt is off and the cam sprocket are set to 60 degrees BTDC so what your saying is trail and error ?
that’s what I am trying to do but how do I do that since my crank and cam sprockets are off do forward the cams or counter clock the crank ?

what you mean by tracking ? lol

yeah my cam sprockets are on the sub timing mark but my crank passed it. I believe which makes me want to turn it counter clock wise to get it on the sub timing mark . that white mark u see on the crack pully is the timing mark but it should be on the yellow sub timing mark

okay I will try to get the crank back in the BTDC by turning it counter clock wise and I will post a update

Yeah right now its off since we realized the timing was off . so I just set the cam gears to 60 degrees BTDC and left the crank alone because I was unsure since I got some resistance

if I turn them clockwise that would put them on TDC but it would still be out of time since that white mark on the crank is TDC and its way off from the zero marking on the case . I tried to turn them but I get resistance so maybe I should just try to rotate the crank counter clock wise back to the yellow 60 degree mark . is there any chance of bending with the cam gears at 60 degrees ?

hey thanks for your reply man so just to clarify turning it back to BTDC 60 mark on the crank pulley would be safe with the cam gears at 60 degrees BTDC ? I was feeling resistance which is why I stopped and came here for a little advised to make sure I didnt bend no valves or have to remove the head .
