If your wife was driving the car, may be she left something “on” the last she was in it. Have the battery charged up and see if the problem will pop up again. If the battery is a goner, make sure the new one is the same as the old (voltage, starting amperage, even brand) BMWs are quite picky when it comes to the battery used.

LPG conversion. I had to remove the injectors to gain better access to the intake

Well if you are careful – not at all. U can swap them all day long no problem. Done that myself.

Swap the no.3 injector with let’s say no.4 and check if the misfire will change its location too.

Check the radiator flow: unhook the two main hoses then put some water through the top opening and watch how it flows through. If the water coming out is less than the water coming in then will know.

Ok, something i’ve just remembered now: the night i messed with the gauge assembly i removed some of the light bulbs so i can work on the background lights, then when i put everything back, the SRS light came on and the right turn signal light went of.. so i probably changed the places of some of the bulbs and may be the the bad one was on SRS originally. Im starting to think the previous owner had an accident and he replaced an airbag but didn’t replaced the SRS unit. That’s the most logical theory i can come up with that include all events and makes sense..
I’ll check that when i get my hands on a good SRS unit.

Make sure there is no air leaks specially from the carburetor flange, its an old car, no wonder if the flange is a bust.
