The keyfob doesn’t lock/unlock the driver door if I press the lock/unlock buttons. That doesn’t budge at all. But if I put the key into the lock and turn, of course that opens it.

The if the driver door is locked, the keyless entry remote will not open any door. If the driver door is unlocked, the remote will lock and unlock all the doors as normal. So there must be some mechanism in the driver door that is not working.
