Love the add great laugh, but I love Harbor freight. Wish we had one in Canada.
I use to use fram until I watched a youtube video showing used oil filters disassembled. There was a hole in the side of the filter media of the fram filter. I’ll use mobil 1 filters from now on . Sure they’re a few more $$ but I do use synthetic oil and want a filter that will go a little further as well.

^^Thats a good tip college man
You did mention a reason for having the dust shield. Plus if you live where road salting is required the shields would also protect rotors, calipers, wheel cylinder and so on. Your call though.
I had to replace the rear shields on my 03 Altima with it being a dealer item plus they must be made of gold because they cost almost $100 per side.
Good to see more Nissan fans around here 😀
I got a Primera and a EU spec 200SX (US is 240SX but mine got the SR20det engine)
Certainly is road2perfection. any pics?.
Do you know where you got those rotors? I’m looking for some gold rotors to put on my Nissan as well. Also could you tell me where you got your blue calipers? I want to put those on my Nissan too. Very nice car BTW :cheer:
Thanks NissanMaxx. I bought my brake set up from a performance shop in Toronto Canada. All parts are widely available. EBC sport rotor are gold but that coating does wear on the braking surface as you brake. The calipers have been painter with a product called por15 which does take some time to apply being a three step process, but it’s a very tough and long lasting product. Also using EBC redstuff pads( awesome bite with very little dust). Goodridge s/s brake hoses and Motul 5.1 fluid.
Extremely happy with this set up and although more pricey I do my own work so I don’t mind spending more.
Attachments:Unfortunately this is an all too common issues with the 2.5 and some of the 3.5 engines. The only true way of diagnosing the symptom is to drop the cat for inspection. Good luck!.
Very nice, and congrats Eric. How about no advertizing for 1 yr premium members (like me)?. Also maybe a “Premium Member” badge under our screen name… That’s a plus on other car forums I belong to.
Guess this could go into the website suggestions too?.
