I’ve had this EXACT same problem for the last 18 months! I also drive a 2007 Honda Accord v6 hybrid (absolute best car I’ve owned 4 quickness & mpg’s & on my 2nd used hah since 2010) & have 124k miles, soon to do timing belt & valve job. My multiple random misfires would only happen when my engine was completely cold. Changed spark plugs, found out that the replacement NGK 6994 spark plugs (put in around 105k) were FAKES!? Only found out bcuz 1 electrode tip burnt off which btw was not even iridium. eBay seller: smallapplecore dont ever buy anything from them they are faking all types of spark plugs & other auto products & there so good u can’t even tell the difference endless u look extremely close… Complete fraud, they wouldn’t even refund me my $ after I called them out. My fault tho, too good 2 be true. But anyways, I’m so thankful I found this post. You have hopefully saved me from other costly interior engine repairs. Checked my air intake hose & it was cracked. Replaced it with a brand new intake hose and haven’t had the random misfire code since(cross my fingers). Also cleaned all the throttle body and map sensor & checked all ignition coils which are good. I love these 7th gen accords I think they are the best accord generation. Thanks so much for the info.
