I bought an HF adapter set 1/4 to 3/8, 3/8 to 1/2, 1/2 to 3/8 and 3/8 to 1/4._x000D_

And I nearly twisted off the end of the 1/2 input to 3/8 output. I was trying to remove a 19mm bolt and a 3/8 ratchet wasn’t cuttung it. Unfortunately or fortunately dependinI have about 3 or 4 3/8″ ratchets of unknown brand or quality.
And you know it’s a TPS or you’re just seeing if it is?
If you know your seatbelt is going to be pulled tight against a hard edge to sharp point on the engine, I’d stick a leather glove between the belt and the block to hopefully dispurse the stress in that area.
Might try one of those all in one tools that has the different sized heads that flip out._x000D_

I think Eric used a similar model on his A/C series of video’s._x000D_

Back when Freon wasn’t regulated I’d see most people using an old refrigerator compressor to pull a vacuum.Ok I just noticed… This requires an external compressor… I thought it was an all in one unit. So maybe not such a good deal.
July 25, 2012 at 11:00 am in reply to: Accord crank no start after timing belt snapped and replaced (Video) #460245I did try clear flood when I first cranked it. I removed the plugs and let it “air out” over night to remove any gas in the cylinders before trying the next day._x000D_
When I did the compression test I pulled the ECU fuse under the dash which shouldJuly 24, 2012 at 11:00 am in reply to: Accord crank no start after timing belt snapped and replaced (Video) #460243Zero compression all cylinders. I took the rocker rack off which I think should have closed all the valves, rotated the engine to #1 TDC and put the compression gauge on #2 which should have been at BDC
July 23, 2012 at 11:00 am in reply to: Accord crank no start after timing belt snapped and replaced (Video) #460240Got the compression tool but I’m at work so that’s a evening thing. Something seems to be to be binding around 1 and 4 TDC and then makes a pop. I dropped a magnet tool down the bores and am pulling up fine magnetic grit. Not looking good._x000D_

You can’t really ‘eyeball’ valve lash you’re better off checking it but I can’t see how that changed during a timing belt change however it might be an indicationJuly 23, 2012 at 11:00 am in reply to: 1993 Accord, will it start w/o an alternator (and timing belt update) #458675[quote]Quoted From EricTheCarGuy: _x000D_

I think you might be being a bit overly cautious, if you’re only off a tooth or to worst case you won’t bend valves and if you already have bent valves who cares at this point. Some honda’s have a relay under the dash that gets flakey and causes the car to shut off.
July 22, 2012 at 11:00 am in reply to: (2010 Kia Forte SX): Clanking sound heard driving/manoeuvring on a rough/uneven road #458471Run your hands over the tires and feel for wavy or uneven spots. Worn or damaged suspension can cause uneven tire wear. If it is cupping or feathering you’ll get shaking.
July 21, 2012 at 11:00 am in reply to: Accord crank no start after timing belt snapped and replaced (Video) #460232Also while I’m at it where does the Accord get its signal to fire the ignition coil? I’m wondering if somehow I had the timing marks right but somehow it’s firing wrong. I dunno.
