Ok something new… So I unplugged the motor because I wasn’t going to be able to get it fixed right away and didn’t want it binding and burning up.
A day later I got p0113 IAT circuit high. I checked the IAT and it was plugged in securely AND I was able to pull up the IAT temperature with by OBDII application.
2 days ago I plugged everything back in and drove for a but to see if the IAT code would go away. It didn’t but the check engine light did. So now I still show p02004 and p0113 but no CEL is lit. I did a code clear and they still show as active codes but nothing is in pending status. I’ve tried clearing the codes with engine on, engine off but nothing works.
The IAT itself is just a blue thermistor mounted in a 2 pin plug that sits in the air snorkel after the air filter. My jeep doesn’t seem to have a MAF.
So the puzzling part to me is 2 active codes but no check engine light. The light has not burned out because I can put the key in the ignition without starting and the lights all light in the dash as normal.

In the FSM for the one of my cars there is an air purge procedure that can be done. Basically slowly rev the engine from idle to 3000RPM taking 15 seconds to get to 3000RPM and suddenly let off the pedal. It says do this like 10 times. They even have a diagram of the ramp and drop-off as a saw tooth wave. That was for a Mitsubishi Galant 2.4L engine it may or may not be of any use or help for your situation.

I wonder if you dunked the dirty cat in lacquer thinner for a while to dissolve the gunk?

Unfortunately since the Jeep is fly by wire, there’s no actual linkage just a motor. I suppose I could try to start it and see what happens.
This is the intake manifold. The IMRC motor is on the side. You can see the flaps in the ports, and the throttle is mounted on that hook shaped part that goes down under everything.

Had a cat that got crudded up because of a bad ignition coil on a 2002 Galant 2.4. I was getting a p0302 and p0421. Once putting the new coil in and clearing the codes the p0421 came back a day later. I mixed a can of lacquer thinner with 1/2 a tank of gas (small can, maybe a little over a quart, not a gallon like Scotty Kilmer used) and cleared the code again and ran it down and a week later the code has not come back yet.
Also, capitalizing every word makes your post hard to read. I started getting a headache about 1/2 way through.

Junkyard heads for the 4g64 in the Galant are not that expensive. JIS Auto in Arlington Texas has some fairly cheap full gasket kits for most Japanese cars. Their best prices are on ebay. Just mentioning it because if you pull the head you’ll have whole mess of gaskets to replace.

As long as we can post URLs without them going wierd and embed youtube videos I’ll be as happy as a clam.
And you know it’s a TPS or you’re just seeing if it is?
If you know your seatbelt is going to be pulled tight against a hard edge to sharp point on the engine, I’d stick a leather glove between the belt and the block to hopefully dispurse the stress in that area.
