Lol. Yeah recorded it from my phone. Had it on the battery. Yes on the diesel. The newer models are more quiet. Will get the turbo and timing chain looked at.
TksRemoved the drive belt and started it. The noise was still there. Checked all the pulleys. No noise. The fan is attached to the water pump pully. Not sure what else to look at.

Checked them both, mounts are good and the fan isn’t touching. Any other ideas?
Just hoping its nothing serious. The SUV runs greatA friend of mine had a creaky noise with the rear suspension on Nissan Tiida. The dealer lubricated almost everything from shock mounts to bushings and the noise didn’t stop. Finally decided to change the shock itself , no more noise.
The gas shock was in good condition but apparently it creaked when the temperature increased or under strain.

I had two previously owned vehicles with this same issue. Turned out to be the sway bar links and bushings. Worth checking them out.- AuthorReplies
