Can I test it with a test light or a multimeter or I need a scanner ?

No I didn’t but when I turn the key to START, the radio and the HVAC turn off like normal when you try to start the van. I thought if it’s acting like this the computer is receiving the signal from the ignition switch. Maybe I’m wrong.

The car has 35000 km but as I said, it sat for almost 5 years without running. My guess is the tranny fluid make a varnish as the brake fluid did and make the master cylinder inoperable.

Before I changed the gaskets, there was no activity and when I put my foot on the gas pedal, the sensors were like normal. As I release the pedal, no activity again.

So I checked today the live data. When the van was idling, the O2 sensors had no activity at all. When I elevated the idle at about 2500 RPM, the O2 sensors were acting normally. So, I suspected the gaskets on the intake manifold and the throttle body so I changed them, and now the van runs perfectly !

              Problem solved !!
thats odd for no activity on the O2 sencors… Im thinking you might have a loose correction bor maybe a bad wire in that case…. so if you have the problem again i would check that… uselly the o2 sensors will give you wild resolts when you have a vacuum leak
I forgot to tell I changed the O2 sensors also. When I checked for a the wires and connections, the heater broke in my hand on both sensors. I checked the connections and the were all good and there was no wire rubbing on the exhaust.

I have 2 codes now on my Sedona. P0154 and P0134. I’ve check on Google and it could be many things. I know when I remove the intake manifold, I didn’t changed the gasket. I saw somewhere the codes could be cause by an intake leak. Could it be that ? I will check tomorrow the live data on the 02 sensors and keep you posted.

Thanks for the input on the PCV Valve, I didn’t think about it.

As for the tranny fluid, the battery and the tires, I already changed them. The tranny fluid was not red at all, I didn’t take any chances. The battery was dead and I didn’t even try to charge or boost it. As for the tires, they didn’t hold air and they was all cracked.

I already put a note in my schedule to flush the oil. I thought I could put some seafoam into the crankcase to clean the gunk in the engine. Is that a good idea ?

If I remember correctly, the sensor in question is on the exhaust manifold. So the leak must be from the manifold gasket or the manifold itself. I will need to check but I’m pretty sure the leak is from after the manifold. I must address the leak issue before changing the O2 sensor ?

I finally succeed ! The van is running great ! I changed all the fluids, remove the old gas, changed the serpentine belts, changed the front brakes. I just need to changed the upstream O2 sensors as they have no activity what so ever.
