i feel like it isn’t necessary. only changed one seal and the new seal had paint stuff on the outside but the old seal was plain metal. i think spring tension holds it in place and should seal it unless there is damage to the mating surface.

the heat treatment also affects the steel characteristics alot.

rear is better. 1980s honda hr mowers are great.
i wouldn’t worry about running a small amount through it. i will update with how they mix at some point in time.
never mind and they are kinda expensive too.
not immediately but after a little while because the metal was already warped and will have less metal to stabilize itself against warping. every time i have had rotors turned they warped.
that will cause excess carbon and the engine is not designed for it but the piston would get a hole before a valve. i am not sure but i guess it could warp a valve
anybody used one of the harbor freight cast iron oiled compressors? seems like they accept a v belt and i have a 4 horse horizontal shaft i could possibly hook up to one.
