Where is the cut print wire?
20130208_150824.jpg seem to have one cut print wire.
Brand new VSS, just installed 2 days ago.
I am to the point where i think the wire going into the VSS is what is going bad because when i hit my speedo it jumps and moves sometime but i took it out and fiddled with the wires, nothing did it, Bad circuit board? I took pictures. Also, i purchased a new PCS (Purge control solenoid) problem is the hoses going into the one on the car wont come off of it, any ideas?
Attachments:I cannot see the video that you posted, can you put a link?
Also, if you saw in my video there are wires that i showed that aren’t connected, Should they be?
And does anyone know exactly how to tighten them? There are two, and they each only go around 2 things. If anyone knows please let me know.

So far it has, I don’t know if it will start not starting again, usually it would do it when i was under a quarter tank, this being because i think the, i’m just going to call him moron, this being because moron (Previous owner) NEVER TOOK CARE OF IT. I think he NEVER had it about a quarter tank so all the “GUNK” and “SLUDGE” or what ever its called is getting into my fuel filter (I was told*). I am not in possession of tools to take out the filter and replace it right now. I know it isn’t the pump because i can hear it turn on. Does anyone think i should just replace the filter and pump together? I am already ordering a new oil pan due to the crack in the one i have now. Should i just replace those 2 at the same time?

Ok i was able to start it, i had to depress the gas pedal all the way down and start the engine and took about 30 seconds but it finally fired up. Any ideas as to why?ALSO, i learned that the idiot previous owner had installed an ignition kill switch, The wires to which were not secured by a nut or anything, they were hanging on each other, could this have been affecting my start? I took it out and nutted the ignition wires to themselves like they are supposed to.
Haha, maybe. Does it start every time now?

I understand. There does come a point however when fixing something is more expensive than finding something else. Like you said thought, do a little at a time and take it from there. BTW not sure how the fuel filter was determined to be clogged but the only way to know that is to do a fuel pressure test. If that wasn’t done then you might want to save your money.
What exactly is a fuel pressure test? And how much is it and where do i get it done?
I understand. Lets be realistic, if you need to depend on your car to get you to school 45 min away at least 5 days a week this doesn’t sound like the car for you. Honestly to me it sounds like one of those cars I call a “Dutch boy” meaning that every time you fix one thing another problem shows up. These cars are NEVER right and bleed you dry till you can’t afford to put gas in them. I would strongly suggest you get rid of this car, beg, borrow, or steal (I don’t really want you to steal any money but you get the point) whatever money you can to get a more reliable car.
My problem is that, i already over payed for this car, i barely have any money left after buying the car, the car runs perfectly fine when it starts. I was told that i had a clog in my fuel filter, which is why the car wouldn’t start, i can replace the speed sensor and cluster if i have to, everything else besides the things i’ve posted about run fine, its gonna take me a few weeks to fix it all, just working out some of the kinks, if i can get it to be a little more reliable then i will be fine, but i’m to the point where getting a another car would take months, and i have to get to work, i mean i can save up and sell this one and go maybe finance and “SEMI” used car for like $10k, but that takes time, and the school i’m going or want to go to is a Mechanic school (UTI(Universal Technical Institute)). So yea i’m stuck with this for a while.
Honda fuel pumps hardly every go bad but lets put a pin in that. This morning on my way to work, my speedo flipped itself back over and kind of works now, most of the time it works all right, it will have a hard time settling at a MPH, but it works, sometimes it just sits on the bottom, any suggestions after knowing this?
***UPDATE***
Sorry for all the updates but i intend on going to school but the closest campus is 45 minutes away so i want a car that will get me there with no problems. But, just now i was going to take my dad to work, but when i turn the key it cranks and acts like it will turnover but it wont, just keeps going and going, i get a VIOLENT shaking of the engine as well. I had to turn the key and hold the gas pedal down for a good 30 seconds for it to start. Is this the Fuel Pump going bad?
