Ok so, how bout this. This transmission now has 8 miles on fresh seals and bearings, the old tranny had SEVERE ISB noise.

This noise is as described, similar to reverse, pronounced in first, about half as bad in second, no problem past second. Been this way since day 1.

Tranny was pronounced good as gold by a reputable tranny only shop that was 85/hr labor.

Normal?

Sounds like a crown vic taking off in first, and is definitely RPM dependent.

This is my first Honda, but my fiesta sure didn’t whirr like this….
