Simple all purpose lube- Bulk oil from the tank mixed in a spray bottle with solvent out the parts washer, or if u wanna get flammable use lacquer thinner instead, fun when u use it on a torched cherry red bolt/part

The geniuses at work use anti seize mixed with STP and wipe it on cam lobes and lifters for break in, its worked for me a few times now.
Maybe people aren’t going to Jiffy lube because of all the hidden cameras that have busted them for not doing what they charge for, right down to replacing the filter and greasing anything during a LOF.

Jiffy Lube also has a new ad campaign claiming to be the good guys and all of us are trying to rob customers blind, so add Jiffy Lube to my pet peeve list. Angry mob anyone?
That new ad campaign is complete bullshit, they’re the ones who up sell everything and don’t have a clue, i lasted 2 weeks at a jiffy lube when i was like 18 before i just walked out, couldn’t deal with the morons, I say angry mob, but lets ride our toolboxes and cherry pickers like in the commercial, just saying that part looked fun

I relax, or sleep, shop for tools, drink beer and maybe….just maybe work on something like a side job, I have no projects anymore, cant afford em, just my own cars i work on when i have to, after turning a wrench all day i just wanna sit around, im tired and sore, with a baby on the way Im sure 8 hour days will turn into 11 or 12 hours and sleep will be almost non existent, but ill do it to support my family, Ive been in this trade professionally almost 6 years now and am already feeling it in my joints, neck, shoulders, constant lethargy, some weeks I get burned out and do the jobs but just go through the motions and end up cursing, smoking like half a pack at work and being in a bad mood. But at the same time I still enjoy what I do because nobody would wanna deal with this guy behind a desk all day.

Im Andrew, Im 23 I currently work for an engine re-manufacturer I am in charge of the warranty department, I repair, remove and install engines that come back with problems or defects, I am ASE Certified in Engine Repair since 2009 and have a well rounded work experience from automotive, heavy truck/diesel, to marine repair and industrial maintenance. I am hoping for a call back from a local manufacturing company to manage their fleet of about 40 pickups, semi tractors, trailers and pieces of small 2 and 4 stroke equipment as well as machinery/ production line repair, as it pays more with lots of overtime, lets just say upper management at the current job sucks and wanna get out or do installs for cash in my spare time.
