I also looked to see if there was any thing like a coin stuck in the seat track but didn’t find nothing in there.

Well finally getting back to this old thread and what I found is that I will have to replace the seat frame due to the design of the seat frame. Just the way the track locks and how the motor is set up. but Anyways now I’m going to be replacing the Drivers Leather seat skin along with the foams. But I’m still wondering if I’ll need to buy or get A HDS system to reprogram the power seat. cause I know that 04 Accord’s have the passenger side seat sensor and need to be reprogramed. But unsure if this applies to my 03 Accord model.

Actually I did find the passengers side splash guard by the wheel well was close to the Tire. one of the screws was missing so the splash guard was hanging by the Tire just a bit. But I don’t think that is what causing the noise. Because its more of a metal scarping noise. But never hurts to suspect that part. I’m going to look more into the brake disc splash guard or heat shield by the Disc. And see if that’s what’s causing the noise.

oh yea I’ve watched this video of the Acura Vigor cool car. I think 90’s Honda And Acura vehicles have always been on my list of one of the great generation of cars Honda made. But wow I couldn’t believe the rust the Vigor had around the rear ventilation vent and inside the trunk. But Its going to be nice to see the Vigor get back on the road though. anyways I’ll remove my interior roof lining and see what I find. I hope its nothing serious. I’ll report back with results soon. Thanks for the info Eric

Did you check the connections to the camshaft position sensor and crankshaft sensor connectors? sometimes they can get corroded or damaged from engine heat. If you replaced the sensors And cleared the codes and if the codes are still there after resetting the PCM. And you know the connections are good and has New Sensors installed its possible there could be something wrong with the PCM Module.

so the EGR valve is what caused the surges and stumbling interesting. I should check my 03 Accord’s EXV6 EGR valve for any blockage. so no codes where showing it was clogged?

actually im having a bit of a performance issue when at idle. I feel the car has a little bit of what feels like a misfire. Not enough for the PCM to pick it up. I don’t know its there and is not supposed to do that. maybe a a valve is hanging up just bit. so that’s why I worry. just don’t want to worry about burning a valve. Because I checked the clearance on the valves when I replaced the valve cover since I had the valve covers off. exhaust was tighter then intake was. and was going to do the adjustment for the valves but decided not to because of the Timing marks. on the crankshaft pulley and rear cam shaft sprocket. I don’t know I do things by the book

A update to this old Thread turns Out A03 Valve Cover is now replacing the A02 valve cover. that all 03 thru 07 Accord V6 models use. Guess its now a superseded part number. so if anyone orders a front valve cover for there Accord V6 for any reason. your online dealer or dealership will send you the A03 there’s no performance difference so im thinking they just did that so you can’t remove those Gold Torx bit Screws or Try to Tamper with it which would be a very bad thing. anyway thought I would let everyone Know.
