A update to this old Thread turns Out A03 Valve Cover is now replacing the A02 valve cover. that all 03 thru 07 Accord V6 models use. Guess its now a superseded part number. so if anyone orders a front valve cover for there Accord V6 for any reason. your online dealer or dealership will send you the A03 there’s no performance difference so im thinking they just did that so you can’t remove those Gold Torx bit Screws or Try to Tamper with it which would be a very bad thing. anyway thought I would let everyone Know.

I would use the Honda fluids especially for the brake fluid and power steering fluid. Because Honda has strict quality. Because I have used generic fluid for my power steering and with in just a few months had to buy a Honda power steering pump. Along with Genuine Honda Power steering fluid.so Lesson learned not to buy non Honda power steering fluid again. So I would get bottles of the proper fluids

if I was you. To save your self from Headaches and a hole in the wallet.ok thank you I just wasn’t sure if the boot is supposed to touch the lower control arm all the way. that’s what I was trying to do yesterday. seems like its supposed to though. I even put a jack under the lower control arm. Not on the ball joint part of course but on the actual arm. wasn’t going in any further. I tighten the hardware with the suspension loaded with the jack and checked again while it was on the ground. didn’t seem to change so I was concerned. with it

or worse a cracked engine block but I would just start with the simple checks. like the engine coolant in radiator and reserve tank.

It is possible that there could be a head gasket problem if its blowing white smoke out the exhaust pipe. I would check between the header and block. to see if there is anything wrong with the gasket. As for the accelerator pedal I would check the cable tension. sometimes they stretch and need to be readjusted back to specification.

I forget to mention turning the Air conditioning on would also cause it to have a low idle. which makes since I’m putting load on the engine. plus the compressor would shut off I’m guessing the PCM would detect low engine rpm. and shut off power to the compressor which would cause extra load on the engine? The service manual says to check the Ac system. And also the power steering system. But I find it funny it had the idle low for 1 minute or so. with out the ac on and then was fine later on. Is it possible the Throttle body could be getting dirty again? causing lack of air flow. Any help appreciated thanks

I check the seat frame and see what I find. awhile back the dealership replaced the seat leather skin along time ago with the seat frame. for the same thing so probably I have to replace it again. in fact I should replace the seat back to cause its worn out its going really expensive though cause its leather. the only question I have is do I have to reprogram the seat with the HDS after I replace the leather seat skin.
