Thank you, I was not aware of the PVC issue, I will check it. The AICV fixed it after replacing, but now the idle is a bit too low so I will get a OEM PVC and see if that helps. I have been talking w/ The College Guy (PM)and going through the other steps of which he has been of invaluable help ((thumbs up to him). He is a quality guy that knows his stuff!! Your site has saved me a bundle and thanks to guys like you and others, us less knowledgeable can fix our own cars in this already hard to deal with economy instead of giving up our hard earned cash to the dealer/shops.
Thank you Eric! 🙂

I pinched off all lines w/no affect, except the TB line and it died. I think that was the MAP sensor line.

Yes, it is new as well as the hose. I watched Eric’s speech and tried all that was recommended with no success. It dies when I pinch off the vac line on the TB, I am still waiting to find out if that means anything.

Still have the surging idle after cleaning TB, IACV, FIV, EGR ports and the EGR, someone said to pinch off the TB vac line and see if it dies, I pinched off the TB vac line and it did die. Is that important? I decided to order another IACV (off eBay, cheap) and it should be here in a couple of days, I hope it works. I cant find any vac leaks, sprayed C Cleaner everywhere with no change.

Thank you, I will look.
Thanks, I will do that.

No I did not because I read in a few places not to touch it, but I will watch the vid and adjust it.
Thanks

Yes it is quite frustrating when you try to fix it and it gets worse. I dont think my TPS is bad because the changes were effected by cleaning the IACV and the idle was low before and now it surges, the TPS was not touched. Vacuum leaks are what I looked for to solve this but found none using the method shown in the vid.
Is there a hidden vac line that sometimes poses a problem maybe,,,,,there is something simple I am missing and you are right it can drive you crazy.
