thank you all for your info. however the engine is not flooded the spark plugs were dry. everthing looks good the timing is correct all valves are opening and closing all the way. it just has no compression and by no i mean 0 not even 1 psi
first of all i would like to thank all of you guys that helped me and made me think outside the box. i also want to apologize if i came off rude to anyone. i was so frustrated and not thinking straight. the good news is i fixed my car. a special thanks to eric the car guy. i thought he was off his meds when he told me my car was flooded causing loss of compression. but after giving each cylinder an oil bath my compression came back and and after alot of smoke shes running great. thanks alot guys i couldnt have done it with out you
i dont think its your injection spider when they start to leak it will run rich. i know this sounds stupid but try removing your gas cap then drive it and see if that helps
i have pulled the fuse to the fuel pump and am using a compression tester. i have worked on a car before that was flooded and had lower compression from washing the cylinders but not 0 lbs
i thought the same thing so i tested the compression on my snowmobile that was in the shop and it worked just fine. lets say the timing was off would it cause this problem. it seems so strange. i checked it several times and according to the manual its nuts on
the car was parked overnight and then would not start the next morning. i cheked the timing and it is perfect. i can roll the engine easily by hand and i checked valves and they all open and close as they should
it is compression issues there isnt any and i cant figure out why its the stranges thing ive ever delt with
