Usually cars that have overheated will continue to run after you turn them off .This is caused because the inside of the engine is so hot that the least amount of pressure causes the gas to fire and continue to run for a second or two.
Not sure, but the misfire you observed may be due to pre-mature ignition due to the high heat that resulted in the pistons firing in the wrong order.

You could have also overheated it to the point you blew a head gasket. Check for possible water in your oil or oil in your water. This is a pretty good way of knowing. Otherwise check the compression of each cylinder

Ex-chill R134a Make a can with a gauge that tell u how much refrigerant in the system.( very easy to do). U should check the level of refrigerant before doing it again. I don’t think u caused any damage to the system, if only a couple of ounces. Hope this helps.

thank you so much for the advice. I checked the shift linkage & there was a loose bolt that caused the Shifter be so loose. I also found a wire loose that caused my running light stop work. thankyou again. 🙂

I turn the car on in neural, It’s very loose. I can drive & back up. But when I try to park the car I have to move into neural or drive & pull out the key. In the last months I’ve had trouble getting into gear of park. Today my wheel lock up & I had to use the tilt lever & turn the wheel. When I unlock it, It won’t go into park to start up. I had to start in neural. Could be low fluid or something else?

I had that problem before. I had to Flush out the heater core. On the firewall located the heater hose & cool hose. Take off the clamps. There two metal pipes, Put a garden hose one of the pipes & let it flush out till runs clear, then repeat on the other side. Put it back together & make sure coolant is full.
