Thanks, but on this car, the low beams are HID, not halogen. Not having worked on HID systems before, I am worried about the cautions re: voltage stored in the system.

Thanks. I guess I’ll just drive it and see what happens. Maybe the clogged fuel filter has been my problem all along.

not sure about the engine type. it has coil packs and wires, not coil on plugs.

Suddenly, the car is starting and idling fine… after I replaced the fuel filter.. it was in bad shape and probably was original to the car. Could this have been the problem all along? If it acts up again, I’ll replace the coil again.
