I found the problem with the fuel pump is was the new wire connector that comes with the new pump, The wires are color matched so you would think black to black,gray to gray, purple to purple etc. but that is not the case the wiring was wrong I had to experiment to find the correct wiring until the pump pumped in the right direction. thanks for the tip about the wire connector. My s10 is running great Thanks again guys for all your help.
I don’t have pressure but the pump turns on for a few seconds when I turn the key to on and I can here the pump running when I turn the car over. This is the second pump I have installed in a week the first one didn’t run at all so they sent me a replacement, It is a aftermarket pump I purchased on ebay I thought I would save money. And the pump did come with a new wire connector. Any suggestions on a brand of pump ac delco, bosch, etc. to get I’m thinking about getting a refund and going to a parts store to get a new one. thanks for the responses.
