      Eric,

      What a coincidence… going to a salvage yard tomorrow to put a deposit down on a transfer case… then comes the fun of removing and reinstalling it outdoors in my dirt driveway… wish me luck!

          Thanks Wrench Turner for the info. I appreciate sound advice and it sounds good going the route of getting a transfer case from a junk yard and then go from there.

              I checked the pads when I removed the caliper… still got about half the pad left… except the bottom rear corner area of the inner pad where the grooving is taking place. Nothing else is even close to making contact with the rotor.
