Hi relative4, thank you, nightflyr posted a diagram which I tried both and the negative configuration worked for me.
The switch by the way is within the steering wheel, wherein the negative/ground will eventually close (complete) the circuit once the horn button is being pressed down.
Thank you nightflyr, the negative trigger diagram was what I need.
Sorry its not, its a fuse
Hello,
Based on the car user’s manual, the following is the OEM wiring diagram
Here is the diagram of the existing wiring
My concern is that, if I press the horn button on the steering wheel, nothing is happening but if I ground #85 the horn will go on immediately even without pressing the horn button
What is wrong or what am I missing?
Thank you
Thanks for the reply nightflyr, yes I understand the numbers what I don’t understand is the curly symbol from one end to other going to ground, is that a power supply symbol?
Btw, I understand the ground connection, the 3 dots on top and one that leads to the blower motor is what I don’t know
On a nutshell, is this the one we should aim for?
Mirage
PS, Disregard the missing Fuse for Post 30, its there but not in the diagram 🙂
Attachments:With regards to the diagram, if I understand correctly, 86 will be hot? like the diagram below:
Mirage
Attachments:A follow-up question, does putting negative/ground together causes any electrical issue, please see diagram below; is B and C just fine? or should I route C to anywhere else the body?
Attachments:may I ask what’s the call for this, I’ll search it up on Amazon and probably get my hands on it.
Hi college man,
When I start the car, these are the possible scenarios:
- If gas has already evap from the carb, the car will start but will easily die down
- If gas has already evap from the carb and the filter bottle has gas in it, the car will start and eventually die down, need to restart and try again, might lead to rough idling or sometimes will die down again.
- If gas is on the carb and the filter bottle is dry, the car will start and if gas is enough will idle rough and eventually die down, on next start car will be on rough idling until you race on the gas pedal, car will be on smooth idling.
- If gas is on the carb and the filter bottle is filled with gas, the car will start and will idle
I do the following before starting:
1. I race the gas pedal once,
2. I step on the clutch cable (I recently found out that it helps to lessen the weight of the engine during crank which helped in the starting of the car, albeit I am not aware if this is bad to any components – car does not have a clutch ignition switch control fyi)After the car have start, I do the following:
1. I slightly step on the gas pedal until the car idling stabilizes.
IAc – AirCon?
Also, what leak, valve or pistons?
Thanks,

Hi college man,
If I replaced the filter, what should be my expectations?
Should the fuel be retain in the bottle?
Also, would this fix the idling issues I’ve mentioned above?
Lastly, when the car is running, is it expected to have the fuel filter bottle to be full? I’ve noticed that mine was only fill up to 3/4, any signs of fuel pump going out?

Pls see attached file, is it correct?
