I was aware of the programs to download from youtube, initially I didn’t want to go down that route incase it was against your and/or youtube’s t&c’s.

If it’s some sort of show car then the best way to clean components is to remove them and clean individually using the correct technique for each component. Aiming a hose or pressure washer in an engine bay is asking for trouble.
If it’s just a typical runaround then why would you want the engine bay clean?
IMO having a layer of grease on an engine and other parts is better than having them all shiny and new looking. According to wikipedia, these engines (renault K7M) do suffer from gasket failure but i’ll deal with that if/when it ever happens.
