Ok got the new sensor in spedo and cruise work but still wont rev over 3500. Its a f22b2 vtec motor. Ive done a compression check all good there, changed oil and filter, new fuel pump and filter (which were a #$%& to get to), new plugs wires and dizzy.

The only thing that flashes is the d4 light i pulled the code and its for the vehicle speed sensor. Would a bad vss not let it rev over 3500

Only throws a CEL when it reaches 3500 but then it goes off when it gets under 2500

I thought with a clogged cat i would lose power? It feels like i dont lose power until i hit 3500 then it falls on its face. Ill give it a try but if it doesnt work any other suggestions

If you want to go the cheap route look on ebay for intake and full exhaust. Intakes on there usually run from $35-150. You can find a full exhaust system for around $180 but i wouldnt trust a full exhaust kit for the same price as my intake on my car.

OBD1 has a blue plug under the glove box you jump off to get the codes so i checked it and its not throwing any codes. Ill check fuel pressure and everything hope it works. Thanks

Ok thanks for the info on idle what about the spedo and trip not working as stated its not throwing any codes or anything but alk the lights work on the right side of the cluster tho.

Im sure its accurate cause ive tried 3 different clusters and they all do the same thing. It will drive like normal but it just idles low. My main concern is the spedo and mileage problem like i said its not throwing any codes or anything. I figured out the problem with the fuel gauge already and it works now i can try and upload a video of what its doing
