Well I think htwr hit on the spot.

Most of my driving is very short driving. Typical drive day is going to work which is only 5 minutes away and it would cool down then I would leave that job go home for maybe an hour or so and go to the second job. Everytime this is happening of course the car is going to cool down quickly.

I have a hose that comes from the valve cover into the intake that is ummmm broken. Not severely broken but is broken and will have to replace the top part of my intake to fix the hose. This specific hose I think its supposed to help compared to the post that College Man put up from justanswer. I’ve been driving all day today and it has cleared up a bit and I think I should get on the free way for a bit and see if I can blow all that out.

So all in all I was getting worried about that because it scared me to death. However I looked through some of pictures of the coolant getting in my oil before doing the head and this milky look is nothing like the coolant look. This is more a peanut butter look.

I do have to get the IAC Valve fixed because it drives me nuts when the car acts like it wants to stall.

So I check the coolant. Nothing. Coolant level was where it was supposed to be. So I decided to check the oil filter. I checked that out and once again nothing. Just brown oil. No looks of coolant what so ever. I open up the oil cap and look and I can of course see milky look. This would bring me my new question.

Do any of the coolant chambers on my 2.2 Ecotec flow through the valve cover? If they do flow through I’m wondering if its a failed valve cover gasket. That seems like a possibility if those chambers do.

Sorry about that slipped my mind. A few people know my car I’ve been doing a lot of work on it.

The car is 2003 Chevy Cavalier.

Today I actually trusted my car. Its been running great so I thought I would push a bit today. I’ve actually been driving around since 9am this morning paying bills and what not. The whole time driving its been great. I have one more fix and that is my coolant. Nothing wrong just need a complete coolant change. So today has been a great day.

Here in a bit after a hair cut I will post that video on youtube of the car. I will post it in here too so you all can see it.

Well being another web design guy I like to give my dislikes and likes on a forum.

                    My dislikes.

                    • I don’t like the forum software that is being used. I really don’t like how it functions. I’m not sure what the software you used is but I typically prefer PHPbb or vBulletin. However I wouldn’t expect you to pay the outrages fees for vBulletin for a software you can get free hence why I say PHPbb. Its free but can do the same thing.
                    • My second dislike. I really don’t like how everything is squished to the middle of the site. Its a cool them but just hard one the eyes sometimes. May I suggest that perhaps you add an additional theme. However it isn’t a big deal. I can live with it just suggesting.

                    My likes

                    • I really do like the youtube video integration. That is always a nice feature to have on any forum so score on that part.
                    • I like the speed. Whoever is doing the hosting has a pretty decent server speed. So I give a score on that.
                    • Now premium membership. Once again that is brilliant. I feel that would be a good way to make some profits for the website and even get your name out there more. So score on that one.

                    So final score.

Possibly check your vacuum line. It could be possible that came undone. Trust me I’ve had it happen. I had a 1996 Chevy Lumina and went to leave home one night. As I go to leave I pushed the break and went in reverse and as I’m applying the break the car

Well about the sprockets. It in fact doesn’t matter where they go. Since both sprockets have the same exact labels for intake and exhaust it in fact doesn’t matter at all. We studied this through our repair guides I printed and clearly stated it doesn’t m

I have checked my throttle cable hundreds of times. I can check it again and see what happens but being honest don’t think thats it. I will see what happens.

Eric you just posted something I thought of today.. There is a total of two connectors on that throttle body. Typically you usually can’t plug the wrong ones into each other but that is my thought. I haven’t gotten to her today as I’m not really in the mo

I broke down and decided to have a look at the car before coming into work tonight. So I checked over the throttle cables again and everything is where it should be. I even took off the air intake tubing off the thr

I personally prefer not to use RTV. To me its a rather cheap way to put a gasket on a vehicle. I rather pay more for an actual gasket set over the sealers well because RTV is just like glue if you ask me. Glue can melt at a certain temperature and I know

We haven’t put the sprockets on the cams that they were originally on because well each sprocket is the same sprocket. They have the same markings and what not. The thing that you said about cranking the motor and pulling those fuses is a brilliant Idea.
