would this puller tool do the job at taking off the power steering pulley http://www.harborfreight.com/pulley-rem … 40749.html or is there a honda tool for it or does anyone know a different way?
i made one from just a 9v connector from radio shack works pretty good actually, the only thing i have noticed is that i have to set my radio’s clock again but other than that its pretty cool you can make it pretty cheap to not that they are expensive but it was fun just to have another project
you can check to see if the light works all you have to do is turn the key on if it lights it works if it dont then it well you get it when you turn it on the computer runs a quick self test on itself so i think we should start there to make sure that works.
hey eric what kinda problems have you seen? anything i should be aware of im going to to do it myself so im not to worried about the wiring i went to school and became mecp certified just curious what you have seen?
it usually under the dash by the glove box next to the blower motor look for a 2×3 inch rectangle with 4-6 wires coming out of it
i got it i just reset the cluster all you have to do is hold the trip button down turn the key to the on position and your done your cluster will cycle itself stupid bad battery caused this.
it sounds to me like you clutch isn’t disengaging all the way you might need a clutch or maybe just an adjustment on the cable. i had a dodge that the same thing happened to all i needed to do was adjust the cable im not sure if hondas can be adjusted
i had that code once it ended up being the spider fuel injector system there is a newer system that replaces the pop it injectors was not to hard to do either her is the part i used and here is some intructions http://www.autozone.com/autozone/parts/ … 1679_5560_. http://www.automotivehelper.com/topic559014.htm i hope this help let us know how it goes just takes alot of time and patience. good luck
that is a good one it kinda sounds like a vacuum leak i would start there is there any check engine lights of course vacuum should do it no matter in or out if gear it might be a clogged fuel filter.
on those fords i have seen the water pump fail with no visible signs of a leak i would check your water pump the one i found did the same symptoms you describe and didnt overheat it was just always low on coolant keep us up to date on what you find
sounds like you may have a block somewhere in your radiator system or a problem with your water pump make sure you belts are tight. have you done a pressure test or a leak down. also have you replaced your res because if you have sometimes the new ones you have to drill a return hole on it it comes sealed for some reason just an idea.
i agree with big c sounds like your vss went bad i had a 94 honda accord once and mine went bad just out of nowhere no warning nothing its happens its not to bad to change if i remember correct you can get to it from under the hood. good luck
